Our relationship with Microsoft is going from strength to strength

We’re continuing to strengthen our relationship with global software giant, Microsoft, by attending a range of innovative meetings and conferences at their head quarters in Seattle, USA.

A number of representatives from TH_NK have attended a range of meetings and conferences at Microsoft’s head quarters in Redmond, Seattle, after gaining our prestigious achievement of Microsoft Gold Partner status in April this year.

The most recent event took place earlier this month when Technical Director, Gary Boon made our fourth visit to Seattle to reinforce TH_NK’s growing US presence and burgeoning relationship with Microsoft.

As well as ensuring we stay up-to-speed with the very latest technologies and software innovation, this also means we are now in a prime position to develop new and existing business relationships in the global arena.

Earlier in the year, Managing Director, Tarek Nseir also attended a week-long conference at Microsoft where he was invited to an exclusive lunch with Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, alongside seven other agency delegates.

This was an invaluable opportunity to tap into the expertise of one of the industry’s leading figureheads. We’ve already gained fabulous insight into the industry from our meetings and experience using Microsoft technologies – and we know there is still so much more to be learned from our collaborations.

Phil Harvey and Adrian Pease, technical specialists here at TH_NK, were also given an opportunity to train on the new release of Microsoft’s Silverlight framework – an exercise which gave a real insight into our plans for the future. Now experts in this area of software development, this means we are able to deliver the next generation of .NET-based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.

On top of this, Tarek will also be attending an exclusive Web Agency Workshop in October alongside some of the world’s most up-and-coming agencies, and Gary Boon will be attending the Microsoft PDC – Professional Developer’s Conference – in Los Angeles from 27th to 31st October. This is a prestigious event where Microsoft will be making exciting announcements about their vision for cloud computing and building applications that seamlessly bridge the gap between PC, Web and phone.

So with all of this in mind, and even more plans for the future, it’s safe to say that our links with Microsoft are growing stronger by the minute.
